Hi, So I almost just bought a 8800 Geforce video card and then realized my comp doesn't have a PCI-E slot and that it only has PCI slots…So I was wondering what are some of the best video cards out there that are PCI compatible.. I was hoping to run games like World In Conflict.

PC Video Card type? What the right type for me?

I recently purchased a game telling me that I need a nVidea 5700 graphics card (or similar) or better. I currently have a nVidea 5200 and I want to upgrade it. There are a ton of video cards out on the market and I really could use some help in choosing the right one.

I have a LCD monitor. I only game and surf the internet (no movies or video editing).

Can anybody make any recomendations?

Good video editing software for a school project?

what are some good video editing softwares out on the market right now. I need it for a school project but i need it for some stuff like adding gunshot noises in it getting rid and adding some parts to the movie and some other special effects like adding a sort of old film thing that goes 5 4 3 2 1 and then starts the movie

Internet video camera?

I own a house 2000 miles away from where I am living now and I would like to monitor it. Their are so many internet video cameras on the market. Anyone have any success with any particular brand? I am looking for a camera that I can simply log onto the internet and just check to make sure my house is ok.

What video cards currently support DirectX 10?

I'm thinking about upgrading my video card, but I don't want to get one that isn't compatible with DirectX10, because I will then have to upgrade it again when games that run on DX10 start being released in large quantities. Anyway, if someone could tell me what video cards currently on the market support it, as well as price range and the amount of video RAM (256MB, 512MB, 1GB, etc.), I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

I am in the market for a new video card and have a couple of questions.?

I read several reviews and may have decided on an ATI X1800XT. I want to be able to play some games (I really want to be able to play Oblivion), but don't have a very big wallet. Anyway, I was told by someone I might have to upgrade my power supply. I have a fairly new HP computer that has a 300W supply. Is this true? Also, I usually shop on Newegg for this type of thing. I searched for the model and it brought up two different brands, Sapphire and ASUS, one of which costs 0 less. Here's a link:

Is there really any difference in the two?
