windows movie maker is NOT high quality & to be honest it has been screwing up each time I try to use it.

I run a business where I make marketing videos and when I started it I was using Windows Movie Maker, but I'm starting to realize how much WMM can limit your creativity. I don't have any startup capital so I can't really go buy anything. Do you know any good freeware programs for making slideshow-type advertising trailers?
